About

Hi, I’m Wen, a 38-year-old mom who’s always loved the magic of bedtime stories and the big ideas that shape the way we live and grow. Like so many parents, I wanted to share meaningful lessons with my child in a way that felt gentle, engaging, and age-appropriate. I dreamed of a place where I could find stories that combined the wonder of storytelling with the richness of philosophy—but when I couldn’t find it, I decided to create it myself.

That’s how this blog was born.

Here, you’ll find stories inspired by life’s timeless questions: What is fairness? Why is kindness important? How can we understand the world and our place in it? I’ve worked to distill these big ideas into simple, comforting tales that can help spark your child’s imagination and plant the seeds of critical thinking, empathy, and curiosity.

As a mom, I know how busy and overwhelming life can be, and I also know how much you want to give your child the tools to thrive. I hope this blog becomes a resource you can turn to, not just for stories, but for connection, reflection, and a little bit of wonder at the end of a long day.

Thank you for being here. Together, we can nurture the next generation of thoughtful, compassionate little thinkers—one bedtime story at a time.
